Norwest commences airborne GGI survey on Isle of Wight licence in Southern England

Norwest has commenced an extensive "Airborne Gravity Gradiometry Survey" (GGI) being flown in part over the PEDL 239 license area on the Isle of Wight. The survey is being conducted by Bell Geospace on behalf of Norwest's wholly owned UK subsidiary, NWE Southern Cross.

Bell Geospace were contracted by Boliden Tara Mines and Mayfly Resources to fly their Air-FTG® surveying technology partially over the midland counties of Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Laois and Kildare during the months of September and October 2008.

Bell Geospace announces BT-67 Air-FTG®.

Bell Geospace announces that it has taken delivery of its first 100 % owned aircraft, a DC-3 which was modified and rebuilt by Basler Turbo Conversions of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
